Beberapa waktu yang lalu, gue sempet ngebahas dengan client gue soal beberapa reality show yang mengedepankan - mostly - cewek cewek yang di make over through plastic surgery alias bedah plastik. Damn, bener bener nakutin sekali show semacam itu. menurut gue, program program kaya gini cuma akan bikin jumlah cewek yang terkena anorexia, bulimia nambah banyak, ditambah cewek cewek yang work hard to collect big money cuman buat bedah plastik. Cerille, cewek Philipina temen gue, pernah ngobrol dengan cewek Brazil and si cewek Brazil ini cerita how big the pressure to be beautiful in her country (soalnya cewek brazil memang terkenal cantik dan bodynya bagus banget), sampe sampe, cewek cewek sana ngotot banget cari uang di usia muda hanya untuk make sure she has perfect body and perfect face.

Misalnya "The Swan", yang tayang di TV 7 ini. Di sini diceritakan 2 "ugly duckings" akan disulap jadi princess yang cantik jelita. Proses perombakannya akan memakan waktu 3 bulan dan selama itu mereka ngga boleh lihat cermin sama sekali. At the end of the show, mereka akan berkompetisi untuk meraih gelar Ratu Swan. Cuman make over nya ngga kira kira deh, you name it lah -- dari hidung, bibir, pipi, perut, paha pokoknya terserah lah mana yang mau diubah. Menurut gue, yang kaya gini nih bisa bikin banyak cewek makin frustasi, bahwa "beauty" itu ditentukan dari kesempurnaan fisik, kalau ngga sempurna, shortcut nya ada kok, bisa bedah plastik...masih ngga puas, yah bedah plastik aja terusssss...gampang kan !!! Kalau udah gini, ngga mungkin ada lagu kaya lagunya Billy Joel "i love you just the way you are..." dehhhh.

Satu lagi reality show yang ngga penting banget adalah, MTV - I Want a Famous Face. Di sini kalau nge fans banget ama celebrity, muka atau badan kita bisa dipermak supaya mirip. Namanya juga acara MTV, jadi peserta nya kira kira umur 18-24 tahun, malah banyak yang ditemenin ama bonyok nya waktu operasi. Gue ngga habis pikir, ternyata banyak banget orang yang rela mukanya diobrak abrik supaya mirip ama idolanya. Gue sampai stress ngelihatnya, soalnya pas udah operasi, banyak juga yang ngga mirip sama sekali ama yang dicontek :), ironis banget kan. Gue bertanya tanya, 5 years from now, do they regret what they did to theirself?? Do they feel stupid???

So, thanks God banget, campaign DOVE yang temanya "the real beauty" akhirnya di apply juga ke Indonesia. It's such a relief, after we exposed so much on artificial beauty and endless story of women who struggle to find their own beauty.

Kalau ngga salah, campaign Dove ini mulai nya dari Inggris tahun 2004, di mana Dove memilih 6 cewek biasa - bukan model - dari ukuran S sampai XL lah untuk jadi modelnya. Alasan nya simple; women are beautiful just the way they are. 6 cewek ini dipilih random di jalan, dan terpilih karena mereka confident and feel good about their body. Harus lah, cewek mana coba yang ngga keder, foto cuman pake bra and panties gituh lho dan bakalan dipajang di mana mana lagi. Plus hasil fotonya tanpa retouch sama sekali di komputer. Pokoknya asli dehhh

But, selain positive points, banyak juga cewek Inggris yang bilang kalau iklan ini ngga realistic. Karena, cewek ternyata perlu lihat yang indah indah di iklan, karena aspirasional buat mereka. Ada juga yang bilang, kalau iklan ini bikin mereka turn off, karena geli ngelihat badan mereka yang sama sekali ngga attraktif. Dengan adanya pro kontra kaya gini sudah pasti bisa dibilang iklan ini berhasil banget untuk increase awareness nya Dove.

Dove juga bikin survey untuk tahu opini cewek cewek tentang Real Beauty, banyak deh yang menarik :

• Cuman 2 persen cewek di dunia yang berani bilang, kalau dia itu cantik. Di Indonesia cuman 1% yang bialng dirinya cantik
• 42% cewek di dunia, ngga comfortable untuk nge discribe kalau dirinya cantik
• 47% cewek di dunia merasa kegemukan
• Hampir 40% wanita di indonesia ngga puas dengan kecantikan mereka
• Cuman cewek di Indonesia (compare ama negara asia lain) yang menempatkan spiritual dan agama sebagai hal yang bisa membuat mereka cantik :)
• 45% wanita di dunia percaya kalau cewek cantik akan banyak mendapat kesempatan bagus di dalam hidupnya
• 59% wanita di dunia merasa kalau cowok lebih menghargai wanita yang cantik dibanding yang lain

sebenarnya sih gue ngga rajin rajin banget nonton tv, tapi ada beberapa serial yang gue cinta banget and i wish i can see it regularly, cuman gimana bisa.. orang jam tayangnya aja ngga pernah hapal hapal :)

CSI
Ada 3 versi dari CSI; LAs Vegas, Miami and NY. Gara gara film ini gue tebak profesi ahli forensik dkk pasti jadi naik daun. Cuman ini kan cuman film, ngga ada lah kasus yang selesai cepet banget dan alat alat nya canggih banget buat ngedeteksi crime scene nya, cuman it's so fun to watch :)
Tapi gue paling suka yang Miami. Soalnya gue suka banget ama komandannya, Horatio Caine (David Carusso). Cool, ngga pernah ketahuan lagi bete apa happy and gayanya boss banget hehehehe. Bukan karena gue penggemar David Carusso (aka Detektif John Kelly dari NYPD Blue - serial TV yang ngetop banget beberapa tahun yang lalu) lho. Dan, berhubung lokasinya Miami, ceritanya kadang kadang emosional banget kaya soal pelarian dari Kuba dan penyelundupan ini itu.

Ini malahan cikal bakalan 2 CSI di atas. Cuman gue malah ngga terlalu demen banget, mungkin karena conflict nya selain kerjaan juga banyak emotional antar personnel nya. Kaya soal berantem ama atasan, diskors dll. lebih asyik kalau kasus nya diperbanyak kali yahhh

Gue denger tentang serial ini udah lama lah di majalah majalah. Berhubung yang main cantik cantik, jadi banyak banget beritanya di mana mana, apalagi serial ini mulai pas banget Sex and The City abis masa tayangnya.
Tapi berhubung cerita yang gue baca kebanyakan tentang steamy scene Eva Longoria, and thriller nya lebih banyak ngegambarin the gardener sans kemeja, teri hatcher pakai handuk dll, so gue pikir ini another Melrose Place dong. Apalagi judulnya pakai kata desperate gituh

So, surprise surprise...pas nonton edisi perdananya, ternyata keren banget ceritanya. Complete banget, ada murder, mysteri, love, sex, beautiful woman, and of course beautiful man. Makanya pas banget ditonton cowok (ngelihat yang cantik cantik) dan cewek (problem nya cewekkk bangettt, terutama yang udah married and udah divorce and punya selingkuhan kali yahh hehehehe). Berhubung baru nonton 3 episode, belum bisa cerita banyak. Ntar kalau udah selesai 1 season dibahas lagi deh.

Malam ini gue di kantor, banyak kerjaan soalnya, pusing dehhh...then suddenly, muncul teman lama yang tidak terduga dan menemani ku sampai jam segini...sambil curhat curhatan tentunya.
tepatnya gue menghibur dia sih, soalnya baru gue tahu dia baru putus cinta after 4 years relationship..Gue ngga sempet kenal sih ama ceweknya, cuman gue suka numpang sampai kantor ceweknya buat motret .. ngga penting nih infonya..Si mas ini tampaknya cukup sedih dan terpukul dengan broken heartnya inih..Dasar gue pengen tahu ajah, terjadilah wawancara yang cukup panjang tentang sebab musabab kenpa mereka putus..and you know what, menurut temen gue dia juga ngga tahu kenapa mereka putus..
" ngga tahu yah Keu, gue udah mau ngelamar segala kok bulan desember ntar...cuman ya akhirnya kita merasa is she the one for me and vice versa. Then we can't answer the question until now..So life goes on, shit happened everyday.."
As simple as that --- ralat, kata si mas ngga gituh, gue dimarahin nih. Karena ini pertama kalinya beliau terlibat hubungan serius dan jarak dekat pula (???)
So my question will be setelah 4 tahun bersama, suka dan duka (kayaknya sih) then you suddenly can not love this person anymore?? still debating about 'the one' ?? Is "the one" is so important than all your suka dan duka and commitment and precious moment that you share together???

RAZIA

Seumur umur baru gue alamin yang namanya RAZIA POLISI semalem. Kocak banget deh :). Ini akibat kalau bandel sih, udah niat mau balik ke rumah malah belak belok. Jadi ceritanya semalam gue ama anak anak waw makan di dimsum kemang. Terus kita lihat banyak banget mobil polisi lewat, pada bercanda deh kayanya bakal ada razia malem ini. Jam 11 gituh, berhubung masih pengen ngobrol akhirnya kita pergi lah ke pindah lah ke tempat lain, masih di kemang juga.

Lagi ngobrol seru serunya, kira kira jam 1 an lah, tiba tiba music berhenti, lampu nyala. Gue langsung kaget kirain FPI bow, kan rada jiper juga. Ujug ujug, terdengarlah suara dengan logat Jawa yang kental. "Kepada para pengunjung, kami dari Kepolisian RI sedang mengadakan pemeriksaan rutin. Tetap di tempat anda sambil mengangkat tangan".

Suer, pas denger pengumuman itu kita semua langsung pandang pandangan sambil ketawa ngakak. Langsung kebayang Buser, sergap or whatever program sejenis itu. Gue agak deg degan tapinya, gue males banget urusan sama Polisi. Suka ngeselin soalnya. Ternyata yang merazia polisi polisi berpakaian preman, dan kayanya ngga terlalu tua tua banget. Satu hal, mereka ngga reseh. Mungkin karena di Kemang kali yah, kalu di Kota kali lebih beringas. Sopan banget pas meriksa, malah rada rada bercanda. Ngga belagu dan ngga ngajak berantem. Kalau nanya juga ngga nyolot. Sekilas kaya kita lagi main razia razian. Cuman 15 minutes, then back to normal lagi. Biarpun ngga masalah, ogah ketemu razia kaya gini lagi . Amin..amin......

Ada satu lagi pengalaman berkesan gue ama Razia, kali ini razia KTP. Kira kira tahun 2002 an lah, dompet beserta KTP gue dicopet, so gue KTP-less lah buat beberapa bulan, males ngurus nya sama RT. Pergilah gue Bandung sama Visi, Santi, adek gue ama Debby ditemani seorang cowok ganteng yaitu Mas Dui. Sial bener bener sial, ada razia di daerah Padalarang, mobil kita disuruh menepi ikut jalan dan bermuara di..guess what ???? kompleks Polisi. Mampus banget ngga....:p
Terpaksalah gue ber improvisasi ala Charlie Angels, gue turun dan sok akrab dengan si petugas (masih muda jo..tapi ngga ganteng hehehehe), ngobrol ngalor ngidul, tanya tanya sampai lupa nanya KTP
Trus si Pak Pol juga ngeladenin dengan asyiknya sementara temen gue diperiksa KTP nya dan temen gue yang cowok disangka germo (sialan, gue tahunya pas udah jalan...emang kita cewek apaannnnn :p)
Sukses deh sampai Bandung dengan diiringi doa dari Pak Polisi yang baik hati....:)

Food Stylist

Hari ini gue ada shooting iklan baru buat product yang gue pegang. Berhubung gue pegang food brand, shootingnya pasti ngga jauh jauh dari makanan. Selama 2 tahun gue berkecimpung di dunia permakanan, ternyata shoot makanan tuh susahhhh bangettt, ngga segampang gue kira. Salah satu faktor yang penting itu ternyata adalah food stylist - yaitu orang yang bertanggung jawab membuat dan style the food supaya looks appetizing in the camera. Dulu gue pikir food stylist itu cuman masak, nyiapin garnish and pernak pernik nya then shoot and finish deh. Ternyata ngga se simple itu. Dan ternyata ngga banyak yang bisa gue categorikan sebagai the real food stylist di Indonesia ini. Sadly, but its true. Dari sekian banyak foodstylish local yang pernah kerja bareng sama gue, belum ada yang bisa gue categorikan bagus dan bisa gue handalkan kalau present dengan client. Atau mungkin ada cuman gue ngga tahu kali yah. Untuk major project, gue harus selalu pakai foodstylist dari luar, creative gue aja ngga percaya, apalagi harus ngeyakinin client. Ada satu foodstylist dari Singapore yang selalu kita pakai, dan dia ini muahaaaaalll banget. Mahalnya bisa saingan ama honor DOP nya deh :). Dia ini adalah mantan AE, yang kebetulan client nya kebanyakan food brand. Karena keseringan shooting dan know exactly the big opportunity for being foodstylist, akhirnya dia banting setir dan jadi one of the best food stylist in Asia.

Di Indonesia, ngga banyak yang tahu betapa menjajikannya jadi Food Stylist itu. profesi ini benar benar dihargai ama uang dan juga kesempatan buat travelling and shooting atau foto banyak iklan dengan directors dan photographers dari mana mana.

Sekarang yang gue lihat, para foodstylist Indonesia merasa this is just a job. First, yang banyak banyak gue temukan adalah food stylist bukan chef, bukan hanya harus bisa masak dan ngehias makanannya. Mereka harus tahu trick trick camera, harus tahu lay out/storyboard and harus catch up the latest trend di food industry. Means emang kudu invest untuk nambah ilmu dan juga perabotannya. Second, kendala bahasa deh kayanya, suka ngga suka bahasa Inggris emang kudu jago, supaya komunikasi lebih gampang karena kan crew dan client kan bisa dari negeri mana aja. Third, cepat puas. Four, kebanyakan ngejar setoran, kapan waktunya buat nambah ilmu ??

Gue sangat suka dengan Artli, salah satu photographer terbaik untuk food di Jakarta. Karena dia selalu membagi ilmunya buat para foodstylist yang kerja bareng dengan dia, ngga pelit and membuat orang juga maju.

Hope in few years, there will be a real foodstylist in Jakarta. Kalau ngga ada juga, kali gue banting setir aja yah jadi foodstylist hehehehehe

I love this place. Kecil banget, jadi berasa hang out di lantai dua nya rumah orang, or ngerasa kaya di sitcom Cheers few years ago :). Berhubung kecil, makanya kerasa penuh melulu mau senin apa jumat, ngga banyak bedanya. Mungkin ini the main reason gue seneng banget ke sini, karena kecil jadinya kalau pergi rame rame serasa lebih akrab dan hangat :p. And it's cheap, tepatnya very cheap buat tempat yang lokasinya di Kemang and no cover charge. Cuman, kalau pesen minum sekalian aja yang banyak, soalnya it takes a millions years to have your drinks. Ngga ngerti salahnya di mana, pokoknya ngga pernah cepet aja datengnya. Kecuali kalau kita duduk di bar top jadi langsung order ama bartendernya. Music nya ok, walaupun kalau yang jadi Dj itu si owner yang umurnya udah kepala 5 (kali yah)itu , tiba tiba lagunya jadi theme song nya "Love Boat" atau lagunya ME yang "Inikah namanya cinta...". But, semuanya tolerable, if you have your friends, drinks and a lot of laughs .....Perfect place to end your night!!

Mahadaya Cinta

Sabtu kemarin, ada pementasan darama musikal dari Guruh Sukarno Putra, judulnya Mahadaya Cinta.
Pemeran utamanya: Tora Sudiro, Widi (AB Three), Aming, Desi Ratnasari, Harvey, Sania, Dewi Gita, Nina Warna dan didukung oleh anak anak AFI (yes, from Indosiar -- cuman ngga tahu AFI 1, 2 or 3 or gabungan yah???)
Sutradara: didi Petet

Ceritanya sangat biasa sajah. Tora pacaran dengan Widi, ketua himpunan mahasiswa di kampusnya. Tapi waktu harvey, bokapnya Tora tersandung kasus korupsi, putus lah mereka karena ngga mungkin gituh ketua mahasiswa anti korupsi pacaran dengan anak koruptor. Then bla bla bla...akhirnya jadi lagi lah mereka. Happy ending ajah akhirnya. Cuman, kalau boleh usul, next time scriptnya di improve dong..pleaseeee bangetttttt. Hari gini gituh, masih ada adegan kira kira gini lah "aku bukan tidak mencintaimu, tapi aku lebih memilih gerakan ini daripadamu. Aku lebih memilih rakyat dari cinta..." tolongggggg !!!!!

Tora -- yang lagi larisss manisss -- sayangnya kurang dikasih kebebasan buat jadi dirinya sendiri, kecuali di ending nya yang sangat "tora" or sangat "extravaganza" kali yeeee. Dan terlalu dipaksain banget buat nyanyi, sorry Tora, kayanya jangan nyanyi lagi dehhhh :), soalnya lawannya Harvey bow, berat banget kalau nyanyi nya maksa.
Widi so so ajah. Desy quiet good, terus kayanya vokalnya improve banget dibanding waktu nyanyi Tenda Biru.
Harvey, ya jelas lah nyanyinya pasti bagus banget, bekas juara di amna mana gituh lho..
And anak anak AFI juga bagus untuk musical performance, walaupun kaya di narinya ngga bisa lah dibanding dengan penari profesional, masih ada yang kaku dan ngga sinkron, cuman kalau dipupuk terus mungkin bisa ke arah sana.
Cuman somehow, gue merindukan ke "glamourannya" mas Guruh dan juga ke kolosal an beliau kalau bikin drama musikan dulu, plus lagu lagunya yang putis...
Best song: waktu Harvey duet dengan Desy nyanyiin "derai derai air matamu..membuat ku lebih..sayang padamu". Lupa deh judulnya, pokoknya dulu yang nyanyi Chrisye, lagu itu jadi enak banget yahhh
Best voice: Nina Warna, aduh si mbak yang satu ini ...suaranya dashyat abissssss
Best unexpected voice: Marcelino, bapak yang di Bidadari...ternyata bisa nyanyi juga dan bener bener nyanyi.....
Best stealing scene: Of course, tiada yang lain selain...oh my god...AMINGGGGGGG....busyet deh, lucu abis, jadi pengen gue bawa balik hehehehehe, jadi apa ajah gue tetep cinta Amingggg !!! :p
Ngga penting tapi buat gue penting: di adegan "arisan", aduh kebayanya bagus bagus amat sih...damn, jadi pengen bikin kebaya :)
Best moment for sponsor: adegan "jalan jalan sore" di mana ceritanya nih para kawula muda menikmati jjs nya. Setting nya tuh tembok, dikasih poster sponsor pertunjukkan segede gede bagong...sebagai org advertising, idenya okeh banget tuh hehehehe....jarang gituh, ada show, terus bisa nitip sponsor di tengah adegan, gede pula....:)

Just wondering, di Jakarta ini jarang banget ada show seperti ini. Paling juga EKI yang teratur tiap tahun bikin pertunjukkan. Walaupun banyak konser musik asing, cuman untuk drama musikal ngga pernah ada yang mampir di Jakarta. Yah, walaupun ngga buanyak bangettt, cuman gue yakin sebenarnya pasar pasti ada lah..apalagi based on my experience, kalau dibikin jadi hip, apa sih yang ngga bisa dijual di jakarta .....
Kapan yah nonton Mama Mia, The sound Of Music or Miss saigon di Jakarta ....hmmmmmm.......

surabaya oh surabaya oh surabaya

the best part of my job is the luxury to travel in many cities in Indonesia, one package with good flight, good hotel and definitely good foods :). Last month I went to Surabaya. Flew here few times, not really enjoy the city sih soalnya panas buangett and macetnya saingan ama Jakarta. But last visit was very memorable. I got an opportunity to experience the real Surabaya food with the expert. Pokoknya asyik banget. Here is my my oleh oleh buat yang mau ke Surabaya and mau makan enak. Don't miss this ...

Ini warung kecil tapi penuh melulu tiap malam. Porsinya ngga basa basi dan emang enak sih. Cuman gue kurang suka kalau makan berkuah terus nasinya "kelelep" , pengennya sih dipisah cuman ngga ada yang makannya nasi dipisah ama rawon nya plus ngga tahu yah, buat gue sih kelewat berat buat makan rawon jam 11 malam :). Rawon ini cuman buka malam hari. Makanya fans beratnya nyebut rawon ini "rawon Setan" soalnya yang keluar malam cuman setan setan plus si manis jembatan merah hehehehehehe
Jadi bukan makan rawon daging setan or makan rawon sama setan...duh garing bener gue...

KEPITING KENARI
In front of Hero, sebelah bakwan malang yang terkenal banget di Surabaya (hehehehe). Perasaan sih tempatnya rada jauh dari pusat kota, soalnya berasa ngga nyampe nyampe :)
Sumpah, buat penggenar kepiting jangan dilewatkan deh..Ini kepitingnya gendut gendut plus enakkkkk banget. Gue sukanya Kepiting Lada Hitam ama saus Tiram. Sayangnya tempat ini ngga punya Saus Padang ajah, kalau ada, komplet dehhhhh. Udang Goreng Tepung nya juga endang, cah kangkung nya juga hehehehe pokoknya semua enak. Harganya murah banget (kalau dibanding di jakarta lah). Berempat kira kira abis 270 an ribu tapi udah makan semuaaanya.

NASI UDANG BU RUDI
Di Jl. Dharmahusada 140 dan Jl Raya Kupang Indah 7.
Ini nasi putih, pakai udang tepung digoreng garing banget (udangnya mini mini), terus dikasih serundeng (kelapa yang diparut terus dibumbui) terus dikasih sambal. Kuncinya di sambalnya - aduh dashyat bangetttttt pedesnya. Enaknya, bisa dibawa jadi oleh oleh, 1 set itu 20 ribu (udang + sambalnya) dan bisa tahan sebulanan lah. Ibu Rudy nya baek banget plus ramah. Coba juga Tahu Petis nya. Tahunya kaya tahu sumedang tapi lebih enak, biarpun digoreng ngga pakai bumbu apa apa. Sebagai tahu die harder fans, ini the best tahu yang pernah gue makan hehehehehe. Definetely will come back again.

BEBEK GORENG PAPIN

Pas di surabaya ini baru tahu, banyak sekali yang jual begor (aka bebek goreng). Cuman gue baca di Jalan Sutra ini yang paling enak and emang enak. Sebagai bukan penggemar bebek (goreng/bakar/masak or diapain ajah) harus diakui bebeknya top abis, empuk, ngga amis dan bumbunya kerasa banget sampai ke dalem, sambalnya juga enak plus after taste nya juga ngga ada.
FYI, ternyata PApin itu singkatan lho, bukannya gara gara yang punya namanya Papin. Ternyata Papin = Pasar Pecindilan, lokasi warungnya berada.

AYAM PEMUDA

Makan di sini berasa kaya makan di mana gituh, tempatnya bekas bangunan kuno terus kalau kekenyangan abis makan jalan terus bisa sampai Tunjungan Plaza. Terus ngopi ngopi deh di sana hehehehe
Hampir sama kaya Bebek Papin, ayamnya juga empuk, enak, sambalnya juga top. Cuman bingung ajah, sambalnya ditaruh di lepek (piring kecil), sambalnya dikit di ujung, kecapnya di sebelahnya sampai lepek penuh. Mungkin di Surabaya kaya di Semarang, makan tuh kudu manissssssss

Ini warungnya kecil banget di deket lampu merah lagi. Jadi tahu tek ini kayanya juga disebut Tahu Gunting, soalnya motong motong bahan bahannya pake gunting. JAdi tahu, kentang digunting terus disiram kuah petis yang sudah dibumbui dan dicampur kecap dan dikasih kerupuk putih. Bisa juga extra telor dadar atasnya. Porsinya super gede, dan siraman petisnya banyak banget. Kalau suka petis, ini juga enak banget.

NASI KRAWU Mbok Su

Nasi Krawu ini originally dari gresik, cuman sebenarnya lagi yang jualan hanya ibu ibu Madura. Nasi Krawu ini, nasinya agak keras terus dikasih lauk yang namanya ulam alit (daging dan jeroan yang dimasak kecap), serundeng (2 macam; abon - warna coklat dan krawu -warna orange), mangut - parutan kelapa bumbu kluwek dan sambal terasi.Porsinya nggak terlalu besar dan rasanya dominan manis. Kalau di Jakarta - kaya di food court, biasanya dijual sama Nasi Liwet Keprabon.

FROM ME:
I didn't except too much from this movie at the first time. I thought it just another cheezy romantic comedy from Korea. But when I saw it - surprise surprise - it's very enjoyable, simple and sweet movie about ordinary people who tried to find the meaning of love. The male lead actor is not a typical cute or geourges as others korean movies. But I think it's very suitable & perfect for his role with his modest expression And the director played naughty with his "movie scene" which I though very clever :)
ln it simplicity, this movie bring the best of a good visuals, sweet and refreshing story and the chemistry of the main characters.
If Hollywood chick movies didn't satisfied you anymore, try this one !!!

THE STORY:

MY NOTES:
This movie was nominated for The best Foreign Movie at the Oscar 2005. Even thought it didn't win, it one of the best movie i ever saw. The story is classic, but touchy, sentimentil but not exaggerated. And of course, these boys sang like an angels. I feel their paint and sorrow through their song, how they seemed moved to the neverland when they did the chorus. And the casts are superbeb! What else can I say, c'est tres maqnifique !! It's classic, and you will watch it over and over again from time to time

1. It makes me laughed and sad at the same time
2. I love mystery books too
3. And I love solved a mystery too
4. I don't like brown color
5. Even only a little, you start to more understanding these special people

BANDUNGGGGG

Went to bandung for work this week - from sunday afternoon til thursday. This times, definitely I took train instead of flight :)

This is the first time I took Argo Gede to go to bandung. Surprised, it quite fun - the train was on time, clean but too bad, the two toilets can not be used hehehe
If not, it will be perfect !!
Last time, I took train was a year a go to Cirebon, and that was very awful and traumatic experience and I swear that I will find any way to avoid train...:)
And i love Bandung train station, it's far far better than Jakarta. It's old building and definitely more friendly.

One thing that i can't stand at Bandung - that's way I avoid to go there often - THE FOOOOOD !!!!

On first night, we - me, retna and my client, Fonita - had dinner at Sapu Lidi, Cihampelas. The place was quite good, cozy and peaceful. The foods were not "wow" but still okeh - or apa kita emang laper yah hehehe
Fonita ordered nasi timbel complete - looks good, Retna ordered soto mie - not so appetizing, while i had bakwan malang - very generous portion.

Monday, Asti and Novi joined w/ us. For lunch, we had Ampera, Sundanesse food. Even the sayur asam (sour soup) color was so weird - merah merah aneh gitu - but quite good, and tempe gorengnya enak banget. Then we had batagor Kingsley for 3 o'clock snacking time. Enakk, I decided to bring some to mas Hima on thursday. Dinner, we went to Atmosphere. The place was very cozy, both indoor or outdoor - perfect space for dating or dinner with friends - and the waitress was friendly and thank you ... quite fast on serving, something that rare here. Cause I still full, I only ordered goulash soup - not so hot and not so good - but ended up we shared our order together hehehe, means I had a few slices of chez omelette - 2 bites of lamb chop - taste lumayan and 4 french fries hehehe
Back to Holiday Inn, i took a long bath in hot water to prepared a long and painful day tomorrow, gosh!

Tuesday, bombardir with sms and calls from office and my lovely media partners :) Little bit screw up while did the research - maap yah Asti !!
Had too many coffee so my maag was kambuh. Lunch, tried soto bandung - clear soto with beansprout, beef, fried soya bean, and soy sauce - it's was good! Dinner at Toko You, always luv the food there, had kodok goreng saus mentega, hmmm yummy banget. Checked email back at hotel and get frustated by the connection - lambreta lamborghini - watched American Idol and thought maybe need to stop by at the office on thursday night or friday. But friday is holiday, not sure that its open, even OB need day off kan

Wednesday, tried segala daya upaya to concentrated - kon-sen-tra-si....God knows I tried.. lunch with the Kupat Tahu. We had dinner @ SIERRA, Jl. Bukit Pakar Timur 33, Telp:(022)251-2240.
It's on the way to The Valley dkk. The place is quite good even the view is not as beautiful as I imagined. The waitress is helpful and seemed had a good knowledge of the menu. The menu is vary, from western, japanesse, and bit of Indonesian. A lot of fresh juices choices, love it !
The food presentation is lovely and appetizing. And the prices, very very very fair, i was speechless !! :p

I was tired, but can not sleep, benci bangetttt kalo gini :(

Finished worked on thursday -- finally, it's so depressing listened to all the respondents life and problems :)
and I miss my Jakarta already

CARITA

Friday, went to Carita with temen temen waktu kuliah. We stayed at Lippo Condo. Oh, I love the beach and the smell of the sea. It feels so good, when u open yours eyes in the morning and see the blue sea from your bed and stop thinking of everything.

Back to Jkt on the next day, we tried different route, through Karang Bolong. Stopped by in the middle of the trip, to relaxed at the rice field side.

Realised that we 've been friends for almost 11 years, and closer as always..

BAKUL KOPI - CIKINI

My favorite place from Bakul Kopi chains - cuman jauh aja dari rumah. It's old building, remains you of your grandpa fav shop somewhere in small town at central Java. Not so big, has smoking and no smoking section (front). A lot of games - congklak, hallma etc - to play with your friends and selection of magazines.The menu is standard, price moderate - same with others Bakul Kopi, but there is something about the place that I like so muchhh

My perfect time: after dinner or watch movie at TIM, with friends, order vietnamess coffee, chit chat or play games - they open until midnight at friday/saturday -- perfect for hang out

Other recommendation: try "Vietopia" , small vietnamess resto beside Bakul Kopi. I am not into Vietnam food, but I like the food there -- it's great !!

My comments:
At first, I really looking forward for this movie. I luv the previous movie from the director "bend It Like beckham". I familiar with the leading lady movies before, aiswahrya is very famous in her country. I definitely love Jane Austen, and above all I think I am in love with Mark Darcy hehehehehe...
But, after i saw it, i am just little bit dissapointed..Well, I mean the set is gorgeous with many colour and sound but i saw it also in recent indian movie played by sakhrun khan :) , a lot of singing and dancing like typical indian movie, the comedi is basi for me and there is no chemistry in both of the star or maybe i just expect so much from this movie

i love february

well well well, this has been a very busy and hectic february for me..Agggghhh, almost every night i came home around 10pm and i still have work trips on saturday, well ngga salah dong my mom even said that someday i will turn up marry my job :>
it began with a direct order from my lovely and gorgeous boss that "we will take what it takes to win this pitch" translate with hour by hour reserch through internet, offices files and everybody files and make everybody mad and crazy and make me crazy too and yesss i still have the regular projects, clients and everybody never stop chasing me and chasing me .. isn't life is so beautiful????

memorables experiences:
- took flight to Bandung with Deraya airlines. It took only 25 minutes (same with my home - Halim Airport), but I swear is the longest 25 minutes in my life. First, I hate fly !! Second, I hate fly with small plane with a body like kotak sabun and I can see the pilot from my seat !!! And I had it two weeks in a row !!!!
my second trip, it was dark and almost rain, little turbulances and the seat belt lamp was on all the way, all I can remember was "Bapa Kami" spinned in my head a thousand times :)


idol junkie
i luv this session of american idol - and of course Ruben & Clay session - i addicted to it hehehehe. I don't have a favorite one, but what i like in this session is now idol have a rock type contestants like Bo Bice and Constantine (you rock, baby !!) so it become more interesting and attractive. They are really really can sing. I know its not fair to compare with AFi or Indo Idol, but at least they can learn something from the show.. The execution and also how to make it not too dramatise -- ngga perlu pakai pakai kopor lagi kan juga sudah sedih bo kalau ada yang dieliminasi---My fav judge is Simon, he is fair and really know the music business, the demand and can 'smell' the star quality in you
