Biar seru, gue memutuskan temanya adalah Japanese Moods...soalnya yang di tumpukan bawah film Jepang semua :) Ternyata ngga nyesel..okeh semua film nya. Dan gue baru nyadar, ternyata banyak juga film Jepang yang baru dan bagus di Jakarta (bajakan nya maksudnya hehehehehe) soalnya dari dulu gue pikir film paling susah dicari itu film Jepang..
"IMA, AI NI YUKIMASU " (Be With You)
THE STORY:Mio's death leaves husband Takumi and 6 year old son Yuji fending for themselves. Taku occasionally suffers fainting spells, is disorganized, and fears that his health hindered Mio's happiness. Yuji overheard relatives speculate that his delivery compromised her health, and he blames himself for her death. Mio left him a picture book in which she departs for "The Archive Star" but re-appears during the rainy season the following year, and he eagerly awaits her return. Taking a walk in the forest outside their house, Taku and Yuji find a woman sheltering from the rain and immediately accept her as Mio. She has no memory or sense of identity, but comes home to live with them anyway. Film ini bener bener cocok dengan week end gue. Lama banget setelah film nya Shunji Iwai "Love Letter", akhirnya ada film Jepang yang sama puitisnya. Film ini ini indah banget baik visual dan storynya. Dari rumah keluarga ini yang ada di tengah tengah hutan, si ibu yang muncul di derai hujan, cinta yang terucap di ladang bunga matahari, ibu guru anaknya yang nyentrik, icon icon cinta yang dipakai. Film Jepang memang paling bisa. Edannya actor utama nya ngga cakep, tapi pas banget. Apalagi yang jadi anaknya, bagus banget aktingnya (gue mau punya anak kaya gituh hehehehehe). Dan chemistry bapak-ibu-anak bener bener nyambung. Walaupun setengah film kita bertanya tanya gimana sang Director bakal mengakhiri kisah ini, soalnya kalau sampai gagal, wah turn off dan sayang banget. Ternyata mulus juga sampai akhir ceritanya. Ngga bisa bocorin, tonton ajah sendiri.
Denger denger, film ini akan dibuat remake nya oleh Hollywood. Yang jadi Mio - Si Ibu adalah Jennifer Garner. Ngga bisa ngebanyangin, soalnya yang kebayang ALIAS, sementara Mio itu cewek yang "cewek' bangettt...Jadinya agak pesimis, bakalan sebagus aslinya. somehow, Hollywood ngga akan pernah bisa dapet "soul" dari film film Jepang yang diremake oleh mereka, mau horror mau drama.
Mendingan film aslinya diputar aja deh...:)

THE STORY:
Girls meet Jazz...
Get ready to swing! From the makers of Shall We Dance? and Waterboys comes Swing Girls, an inspirational zero-to-hero tale about a group of girls who find their rhythm - and then some! Tomoko (Ueno Juri) leads a group of bored girls stuck in remedial summer math class, who decide to ditch their boring teacher (Takenaka Naoto) to deliver lunches to the school brass band.
But the girls' extreme laziness causes the lunches to spoil, and soon nearly the entire brass band gets sick. The remaining member is Takuo (Hiraoka Yuto), who recruits Tomoko's classmate Sekiguchi (Motokariya Yuika) into the band, even though Sekiguchi's musical talents are entirely in question. But Tomoko and the other girls soon follow, partly to get out of math class, and partly because it's their fault that the entire band got sick in the first place! But there's a catch: nobody knows how to play a wind or brass instrument, much to the dismay of Takuo, who proposes that the girls play swing band jazz - and take their act all the way to a battle-of-the-bands finale! Ceritanya sih standart, tentang a bunch of student yang sebenarnya lagi kena hukum tapi akhirnya jatuh cinta dengan jazz dan bikin satu grup jazz di sekolahnya. Cuman, jago aja directornya bikin cerita yang simple jadi sweet, fun tapi ngga over exagerated. Sweet ngelihat perjuangan mereka ngumpulin duit buat beli peralatan, latihan, gagal, ketemu guru music yang antik. Ngga ketinggalan karakter karakter aneh yang suka nongol di film film jepang, kaya 2 cewek rock n roll yang ngga peduli band nya apa, yang penting bisa main musik, guru music mereka yang ternyata even ngga bisa main music..let's swing !!!!
" SHIMOTSUMA MONOGATARI" (kAMIKAZE gIRLS)

Film ini bener bener kocak dan absurd banget deh. Cocok kalau ditonton cewek cewek rame rame, girl power banget deh !!! 2 cewek di film ini kaya persilangan Legally Blonde dan Kill Bill 2. Yang satu tuh girlie banget, dengan gaya Lolita yah yang PD dan cuek banget, yang satu lagi cewek preman anak motor tapi hatinya Rinto. Belum lagi gaya film ini yang comical - dari gaya dandan Momoko,babenya Momoko (yang jualan Versace palsu hehehehe), sampai neneknya -- anggap aja nonton anime, tapi yang main orang beneran, kocak and yah..absurd banget. gue penasaran, film ini kayanya ada versi komik nya, lebih ancur lagi ngga yahhh..:)
Biarpun ceritanya light and "akrab banget", tapi bener bener enjoyable.
